Susan Romano moved to the North Carolina coast driven by her desire for a simpler, small town lifestyle where she could continue her real estate career while enjoying the unique attributes of the greater Southport community. “I have come to love this area… the beautiful waterfront, the local shops, restaurants and particularly, the people.”
Originally from Long Island, Susan launched her real estate career in 2015 following a successful tenure in healthcare management. She ran large medical practices and built a 42 million family health plan for the Coast Guard. Susan impressive business experience includes financial, negotiating, sales, and marketing skills has nurtured her customer relationships. Her business background, coupled with her interest in the real estate market, lead to her decision to become a licensed agent while still in New York and later in North Carolina.

A resident of St. James, Susan is an avid photographer. She also enjoys cycling, the beach, the arts and theatre. A strong supporter of women’s health issues, she has also chaired special events to benefit the arts and local charitable organizations.
